The Entre Soles y Lunas Foundation, with headquarters in the city of Montevideo, Uruguay, articulates actions from three fundamental axes: migration, heritage and sustainable fashion, properly articulated in agreements and partnerships at an international level with public entities, academics, international organizations and social organizations. The Foundation was created in 2006 as a project and consolidated organically in 2011, focusing on the contribution to improve the quality of life of human beings. The Foundation designs strategies and projects that promote the integral development of people and communities through the reconstruction and strengthening of the social fabric at local, regional and international levels. In order to achieve this, the projects are articulated in the areas of education, communication, culture and art. These processes are developed aligned with five-fold impact: social, economic, cultural, environmental and spiritual. In harmony and peace with the universe and in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Operability and Transparency

The Entre Soles y Lunas Foundation develops its best practices in transparency and good governance in order to guarantee its foundational objectives, ensure efficiency in its actions and achieve excellence in project management.

  • Executes actions, projects and programs jointly with public and private academic entities, social organizations and states in several countries. 
  • It does not accept financial contributions that place conditions on the fulfillment of its objectives, values or principles. Neither accepts nor receives funds whose origin is not licit, easily verified or proven to be transparent.
  • Actively participates in programs proposed by states and international organizations for the construction of public policies at local, regional and international levels that contribute to welfare, inclusion and human rights.
  • It contributes to the construction of full citizenship by promoting responsibility, legality and the exercise of rights and duties that allow life in conditions of dignity, equity and social justice.
